The basics of patisserie
The day will be based around the basics and knowing how to make it at home without too much fuss.
We’ll start of the day at 9.00am for the important bit, a coffee and a chat.
Then we’ll have to do bit of work but it’s still be fun, I promise.
I will teach you how to make sweet pastry, choux pastry, charlotte sponge,
crème patissière, ganache, curd, bavaroise and Italian meringue.
You will make a selection of tarts, eclairs and entremets over this day that you
Will take home to enjoy with your family and friends.
I will tell you all the tricks of the trade that I have acquired over the last 20
Years and show you how satisfying baking is.
Not to worry, as it is a long time to be in the kitchen we will make sure to have
break for lunch where one of the chef will prepare lunch for you.
We are aiming to finish around 3.30pm.
All we ask from you it’s to come in comfortable footwear and practical clothing
for a day of baking at Cocorico Patisserie.
